Sketch Notes on Governance

Last month, I gave a presentation at the International Referral London "Dare, Dream, Do & Deliver" Conference 2013 at the BAFTA headquarters. Thomas Wheeler, the MD of International Referral arranged for Caroline Chapple to do sketch notes of each session and mine is attached. As another speaker has fed back to Caroline "Your work is fabulous and a wonderful tool for aiding communication. The human brain loves pictures and your cartoons tell the story that often doesn't come across as well in words" My presentation was on "Developing an Efficient, Effective, Flexible and Responsible Governance Structure". I talked first about the challenge of adapting to the changing role of governance in growing firms. Then I covered the thorny subject of decision-making in professional firms and finally about harnessing the power of the partnership model.
